FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 

· How do I register?

Click on Quick Registration for more information. Be sure to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to class start times.  You can always register before your first class too.

· Are there beginner classes?

Can you join a Jazzercise class at any time. From the novice to the most advanced exerciser, Jazzercise brings all fitness levels into one class. Jazzercise is a non-competitive program. You are encouraged to work at your own pace. Your instructor will demonstrate both low and high impact, you pick what works best for YOU!

· How often should I exercise?

If you are new to exercise, begin with 2-3 classes a week and gradually add classes. To increase your fitness level, work out 4-5 times per week.

· What are the Instructors' credentials?

Jazzercise instructors participate in an intensive screening process as well as training and certification program, and are CPR certified. Instructors also continue their education in all aspects of dance and physiology to keep abreast of the latest developments in fitness.

· May I bring drinks and food to a class?

We recommend Jazzercisers bring a non-breakable water bottle with a lid to class. Prevent accidents and spillage by keeping drinks out of the way of other Jazzercisers. No food or gum, please.

· Do I need weights?      

Weights are optional for new customers. We recommend you familiarize yourself with the basic exercises and techniques before using light (3-5lb.) weights. We have a small selection of weights (1-10 lbs.), mats and Xertubes for your convenience! All equipment is on a first-come, first-served basis. You are free to bring your own weights, mats and tubes as well.

· Do I need special clothes or equipment?          

Any loose, comfortable clothes are fine. Most people wear bike shorts or jazz pants and a bra top or T-shirt. Bring along a towel or exercise mat for the floor work. Good, rubber-soled aerobic shoes are recommended. You my also purchase fitness clothing and accessories at Jazzertogs.

· Is Childcare available?

No, childcare is not available at the current time, however, this is something we hope to address in the future.

· Where can I get more information?                            We recommend you take a look at our Workout Guide, Do’s and Don’ts and Basic Movements pages before attending class. It contains useful information on all aspects of Jazzercise.  As always, if you have additional questions, please contact us!
